Tony Gage

Former Chairman, CEO and President of Phillips, Hager and North (PH&N) Investment Management.

Mr. Gage is the former Chair of the Board of Phillips, Hager and North (PH&N) Investment Management. His career at Phillips, Hager and North, where he served as President and CEO from 1994-1999, spanned more than two decades. Previously, Mr. Gage was Assistant Vice President and Director of Confed Investment Counselling, the pension fund management arm of Confederation Life.

Mr. Gage is Chairman of the University of Victoria Property Investments Inc., Lead Director of JEA Pension System Solutions, and Chairman of CMLS Financial. He is a past member of the Board of Governors of the University of Victoria and Chair of the Finance Committee (2007-2013). He was a Director of PSP Investments from 2006-2015 and Chair of the Investment Committee from 2009-2015.

Mr. Gage holds a Bachelor of Arts (Economics) from the University of Victoria, an MBA (Finance) from the University of British Columbia and a Chartered Director designation from McMaster University. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst.
